DBT therapy is a potent approach for managing anxiety and its multifaceted effects. Rooted in mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral techniques, Dialectical Behavior Therapy navigates the intricate dance between acceptance and change. This method not only assists those wrestling with anxiety in managing their overwhelming thoughts and emotions, but it also shines as a beacon of hope for individuals facing borderline personality disorder, self-harm tendencies, and even substance abuse.
Individuals who experience intense emotional fluctuations, have difficulty managing distress, struggle with self-destructive behaviors, and have a history of chronic, unrelenting anxiety could greatly benefit from DBT. If you're open to learning mindfulness techniques, developing healthier coping strategies, and are willing to commit to the process of change, then DBT could be a valuable avenue for your journey towards managing anxiety and fostering emotional well-being.

Group Therapy can provide many benefits, such as a supportive environment, feedback and validation as well as improving skill development and accountability.
We screen each participant to ensure that their goals are aligned with that of the group objective and once selected, each one is asked to sign a thorough confidentiality form along with an intake form.
Each session will be structured around a certain skill set and group participants all are encouraged to have a turn in sharing at each meeting, and are given the opportunity to reflect, validate, provide feedback or ask more questions as well.
-
You don’t need any previous experience in therapy at all! Just a willingness to learn, participate and connect with others!
-
A closed group does require that each participant makes an intentional commitment to themselves and the group as a whole in order to foster a climate of encouragement, accountability and prioritization of self development.
If there is a existing time conflict that you can’t change, please discuss with the facilitators during your initial consultation and interview.
